Marta Palicio, PhD in molecular biology, new member of the GAEM Foundation Scientific Committee
Marta Palicio is Chief Innovation Officer in the R&D department at Biokit. Her role is to drive innovation at Biokit, scouting new products and technologies of interest for the company, exploring collaboration opportunities and boosting internal innovation.
Biokit develops and manufactures in vitro diagnostics tests for human clinical diagnosis.
Marta has more than fifteen years of experience in biomedical research and biotechnology. After her doctorate, she worked for Genset, a French pharmacogenomics company and was Director of International Affairs at Eurasanté, a French agency specializing in the economic development of the health sector. Prior to joining Biokit in 2012, he held the position of Scientific Business Developer at the Spanish company Oryzon.
The GAEM Foundation Scientific Committee is made up of renowned experts in different fields of knowledge and environments, always recognized professionals with more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields, who collaborate for renewable 4-year periods.
The GAEM Foundation Scientific Committee is responsible for independently evaluating the projects proposed for the GAEM Accelerator portfolio. It currently has 6 members, all of them representing the academic – clinical world and the biomedical and / or technological business sector.
